Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Ujwala Book House, we are committed to providing genuine and high-quality books. Please read our refund and cancellation policy carefully.
Eligible Cases for Refund
Refunds are applicable only in the following cases:
- Damaged books received
- Incorrect book delivered
Damaged Books
If you receive a damaged book, please share clear photos or a short video of the product within 48 hours of delivery via WhatsApp or email. After verification, we will resend the same book in good condition.
Wrong Book Delivered
If an incorrect book is delivered, please inform our customer care team within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a pickup of the incorrect book and dispatch the correct one.
If you require the correct book urgently, you may place a fresh order. Once the incorrect book is received back, the amount for that book will be refunded. Refunds are applicable only when the new order exactly matches the originally ordered book.
Non-Eligible Cases
- No refunds for change of mind
- No refunds after delivery acceptance
- No refunds for incorrect orders placed by the customer
Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. In such cases, prepaid orders will receive a full refund.
Orders are usually not cancellable after 24 hours as processing begins immediately. In exceptional situations, customers may contact our support team for assistance.
Returns
We have a 5-day return policy, which means you have 5 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Once the return product is received, it will be inspected and the return will be approved within 2 days.
Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 5β7 working days to the original payment method.
